Top 5 Charmhotel

1 - Hinterland of Nice

In the shadow of the hustle and bustle of the Côte d'Azur, the hinterland of Nice exudes tranquillity. Anchored in the rock, these elevated villages steeped in history all have their own unique character. Scattered among the mimosas, vineyards and olive groves, they are a delight for purists of the authentic. By bike or by foot. Why not take a stroll?

2 - Old Nice

With its narrow cobbled streets, pastel-coloured buildings and shops selling Nice soap, Provençal textiles, meat and cheese, Vieux-Nice is the old and lively part of the city. The vendors at the daily market on the Cours Saleya (a pedestrian mall) sell flowers and a variety of products. Lively pubs and open-air restaurants serve specialities such as crêpe socca. Situated high up in the hills and offering a remarkable view of the city and the sea, the park on the hill of the château is a wooded area.

3 - Monaco

Situated on the Côte d'Azur between Cap d'Ail and Menton, and just a few kilometres from the Italian Riviera, the Principality of Monaco is one of those magical and prestigious places that enjoy an international reputation. Monaco is unquestionably a privileged location: imagine a small (1.95 km²), booming capital, with the shores of the Côte d'Azur at its feet, a magnificent natural setting built right into the mountains (the city is actually called the rock), a few skyscrapers on land reclaimed from the sea (31 hectares reclaimed!), sunshine most of the time, parks and flower gardens superbly laid out throughout the city. Sumptuous boutiques, chic hotels and restaurants... luxurious, state-of-the-art cultural and sporting facilities... beautiful Limousines or small Porsches on the famous Monte-Carlo bends... You're in Monaco!

4 - Menton

Menton is a town on the Côte d'Azur in south-east France. Menton is famous for its beaches and its gardens, such as the Madone greenhouse with its rare plants. To the east, the medieval old town on the slopes of the hill is home to the Basilica of Saint-Michel, with its 18th-century bell tower, and the chapel of the Pénitents blancs with its ornate façade. Nearby, the Musée Jean Cocteau collection Séverin Wunderman exhibits works by the poet Jean Cocteau.
