Some holiday ideas for cycling enthusiasts

  • Riding prepared itineraries to discover exceptional landscapes, with all the necessary information at hand (distances, viewpoints, gradients, journey times, etc.).
  • Plan themes that can be associated with cycling and the outdoor spirit, such as the study of flora and fauna, photography, naturopathy, gastronomy, oenology, culture, etc.
  • Add a 2nd sporting activity: hiking, paragliding, yoga, meditation, Nordic walking... Double your sporting skills and double your fun!
  • Cycling competitions and events: amateurs can cheer on the competitors and the more experienced can test themselves in races. For example, choose one of the stages of the Tour de France and take the opportunity to discover the region by cycling.

The popularity of cycling in France

More and more people are cycling in France, whether as a way of getting around (for business or pleasure) or as a leisure activity. The advent of the electric bike, and above all its democratisation, has led to a boom in cycling in the broadest sense of the term! Now a faster, easier means of transport, it has won over even the least sporty among us.

The development of cycling is also due to a growing awareness of environmental issues.

Cycling has a number of benefits for improving health and well-being, a boon at a time when taking care of yourself is becoming a priority.

The development of cycle paths and access to self-service bicycles in towns and cities has encouraged people to get around on two wheels.

Cycling holidays give you the chance to enjoy the countryside while taking part in a stress-free sporting activity, away from the congested roads. An eco-friendly holiday that's good for body and soul.
